Cherokee Creek Music Festival

The Cherokee Creek Music Festival raises money every year through this event to support children’s charities and local public service organizations. This year’s artist lineup include John Fogerty, Dwight Yoakam, Lyle Lovett and Counting Crows. Polish Festival Days

Take in some international culture---Texas style---with this weekend long festival celebrating Polish heritage in Central Texas. There’s everything from a BBQ cook-off to a 5K run to burn it off for both adults and kids. There’s also a parade, pageant, live music and all kinds of food for everyone.
Early Settlers Day Festival

Head up to the Texas Panhandle for the Early Settlers Day Festival. This one-day event pays tribute to Texas’s early settlers in the area. The entire family can enjoy everything from pony rides, pancake breakfast, kiddie train rides, a parade, turtle race, water slides, stick horse race, and an antique tractor display.
Big Bend Nature Fest

Big Bend National Park, Texas
This unique event is an educational journey through Big Bend with lectures and field trips about the natural diversity and habitats of creatures and plants in this U.S. national park. Each evening, there are social events including a BBQ dinner, ice cream party and live music. If you’ve never been to this corner of the state, it is definitely a worthwhile trip!
